Carol Baroudi founded Baroudi Group in 2001. Carol is co-author of the best-selling The Internet For Dummies. Her other books include E-mail For Dummies, Mastering COBOL, Internet Secrets, Keeping and Seeking Customers with a Field Guide to Marketing.

Judith Hurwitz is President/CEO of Hurwitz & Associates and specializes in emerging technologies. Hurwitz initiated research and consulting in open systems and Unix at Patricia Seybold s Group in the late 1980s. She is frequently quoted in major publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Business Week, E-Week, InformationWeek, and Computerworld.

Robin Bloor founded the UK IT analyst company Bloor Research. Robin is the author of The Electronic B@zaar.

Marcia Kaufman holds undergraduate degrees in math and economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from Boston University. She has over eighteen years of experience in business strategy, industry research, and analytics and a strong background in marketing and strategy for Fortune 500 manufacturing and financial services companies.

All four authors work for Hurwitz & Assoc. and are trusted consultants to IBM.
